A sheet on a wall, a projector, two speakers, and a village sitting on mats in the dark. For most of the people watching it is the first film they have ever seen — and it is the life of Jesus. We also give the equipment away, so a pastor can keep doing it after we drive home.
The setup is simple because it has to be. A white sheet stretched on a courtyard wall, a projector run off a generator, two speakers loud enough to carry, and whatever mats the village can find. People start arriving before dark.
What happens next is the reason we keep doing it. Most of the audience has never watched a film in their lives, and the first one they see is the life of Christ in their own language. They follow it as though it is happening in front of them — and when it reaches the crucifixion, grown men weep openly. Nobody has to explain the story afterwards. They have just watched it.
So we also give the equipment away. Projectors, screens, speakers, cables, the lot — handed to pastors and home churches so the screening does not depend on our team being in the district. One kit turns one village into a dozen.

Our team can be in one village a night. A pastor with his own kit can be in a different one every week, for years, without us.
The film runs in Urdu and in regional languages. Nobody is watching subtitles they cannot read.
People stay. There is prayer, there are questions, and there is almost always rice and a hot meal before anyone goes home.
A screening needs four things: something to project, something to project onto, something to hear it through, and power. Our team can carry that to one village a night.
So we buy the kit and give it to the pastor. Projector, screen, speakers, cabling, and a power solution that works where the electricity does not. It is his, outright, and it does not come back with us.
One kit turns one village into a dozen. A pastor with his own equipment runs screenings in his whole circuit, month after month, in districts our team may not reach again for a year.
