Since 2012 we have been driving out to the brick kilns, the flood plains and the farming villages of Punjab and Sindh. We preach Christ. We pay off the debts that hold families at the kilns. We sink wells. We put a Bible into hands that have never held one.

For years these families worshipped in courtyards and under tarpaulins. Now there is a roof, a floor, and a door that locks.

The land was bought before there was any money to build on it. The walls went up course by course as gifts arrived — sand, then steel, then a slab, then a roof. The congregation watched their own church rise out of a field they had walked past all their lives.

It is now the base for everything else: the rescue team works out of it, the sewing graduates receive their machines in it, and the children who have never had a Christmas programme get one on its stage.

Where we work —
425 places and counting.

Two provinces. Central Punjab around Faisalabad, and the flood districts of Sindh. Five pastors plant about twenty-five new home churches every month.

250 home churches clustered in the villages around Faisalabad, Jaranwala and Samundri — close enough for one pastor to reach several in a day.

120 further out across the rest of Punjab, reached by motorbike. A bike roughly doubles the villages one preacher can cover.

55 in Sindh, where the work began with flood relief and stayed: rations, clean water and preaching in the districts the water took.

Nobody is handed a whole Bible on the first day. It comes one step at a time, and somebody always comes back to check.

One family of the 250 Debt cleared, relocated, rationed, and set up in their own small trade.

Clear the debt — negotiated with the kiln owner, paid in full, papers signed.

Move them out — a rented house somewhere the owner has no reach.

Feed them — rations through the first months, while there is no income yet.

Set up a trade — a small business of their own, so nobody can pull them back.

School for the children — the first generation of the family to read.

Then a shared meal — everybody together, which is how it always ends.
